Between August 16 and 26, CJCU began the ten-day Miyakojima Transboundary Summer Camp. In addition to Taiwanese students, CJCU invited three Japanese universities and local junior high and elementary students, in total of 30, to join.
Theme of the Camp was closely connected to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and students were introduced to Miyakojima’s culture, history, and natural environment under the vision to build Miyakojima into a “Thousand-Year Island.”Furthermore, language and traditional dance classes were offered for cultural exchange and learning.
