The College of Management at Chang Jung Christian University was officially informed on August 31, 2024 that Beta Gamma Sigma CJCU Chapter has garnered the recognized distinction as an ‘Honors Chapter’ of 2023-2024 academic year for three consecutive years.
Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world. BGS invites the top 10% of undergraduate students, top 20% of graduate students and all doctoral candidates that have successfully defended their dissertation at an AACSB accredited business school to become lifetime members for recognizing and honoring their outstanding performance on academic excellence. Faculty members who meet the membership eligibility criteria will also be invited to join BGS. Beta Gamma Sigma holds different kinds of events exclusively for BGS members and chapters every year to help them stay ahead of global business trends, encourage them in international collaboration, and also enhance the schools’ reputation.
The College of Management at CJCU established Beta Gamma Sigma CJCU Chapter in 2021. To date, three membership recognition ceremonies at Beta Gamma Sigma CJCU Chapter were held with a total of 90 faculty members/students becoming BGS lifetime members. Additionally, we nominated through an official process and inducted Mr. Jung-Chi TAI, Chairman of KNH Enterprise Co., Ltd., Dr. Cheng-Kun WANG, Chairman of E-Champ Aesthetic Medicine Group, Dr. Wei-Jen CHEN, Chairman of Syngen Biotech Co., Ltd., and Mr. Yu-Shan WU, Chairman of Jiajin Construction Company as our‘Chapter Honorees’. It is a great honor of our faculty, staff and students for the outstanding achievements to receive ‘Honors Chapter’ for three consecutive years.
We will continuously be active in internationalization, encourage outstanding faculty members and students to join BGS, and strive to resource students with opportunities to become globally connected in the future in order to be a globally prominent business school fostering future leaders with social responsibility.
