Between August 27 to September 7, 15 students from the Bachelor Degree Program in International Program for Sustainable Development (IPSD) and the Department of Applied Philosophy (DAP) of Chang Jung Christian University went to Chennai,India for the “Roots & Shoots International Community Sustainability Exchange Event.” During the visit, students came to understand the process, consultation, and current status of rebuilding the ghetto into public housing, the life of Roma, and operation of NGOs in India including efforts made and challenges met.
From September 2 to September 3, CJCU students attended a jointly organized “Youth for Climate Change National Academic Forum” by CJCU and its sister university, Madras Christian College, focusing on roles and contribution of youth in climate change.
