When international students encounter thousand-year old shadow puppet show

The Chinese Language & Culture Center of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) on November 19 organized cultural experience event about puppet show by inviting the lecturer from the Kaohsiung Museum of History to share with CJCU’s international students about historical background, music instrument played, and handmade puppets. Students from various countries were introduced to rich traditional Taiwanese culture and charm of shadow puppet show in this journey that transcends time and space. Students were also able to design and make their own unique puppets from the starch, and that experience gave them a deep impression.
