Director Lin Chien-Ping Continues Legacy as Jury Member for Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024

Renowned Taiwanese filmmaker Lin Chien-Ping, celebrated for his award-winning works Small Station (小站) and Little Yellow Flower (小黃花), has been appointed as a jury member for the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024, marking his fifth consecutive year in this esteemed role.

Lin Chien-Ping gained international acclaim when Small Station was awarded the Best Short Film Award at the Venice Film Festival, making him the only Chinese-language filmmaker to achieve this prestigious honor. His subsequent work, Little Yellow Flower, further solidified his global reputation, winning 43 international awards from institutions worldwide.

Held annually in Singapore, the Asian Academy Creative Awards, often dubbed the “Oscars of Asia,” honor excellence in film, television, and digital content across the region. Lin’s ongoing involvement as a jury member highlights his profound impact on recognizing exceptional creative achievements that shape Asia’s storytelling landscape.

Reflecting on his five years as a jury member, Lin stated:
