South Korea’s Hosan University's International Director Jin Shan-Mei and Office of International Affairs instructor Jin Yi-En and assistant Li Cheng-Ke visited Chang Jung Christian University. They were greeted in a welcoming ceremony chaired by Vice President Sun, Huey-Min. The Vice President shared that in the University's social responsibility projects, the remediation of Er-Ren River has seen positive outcome, and the University will continue promoting environmental sustainability. The Office of International Affairs and the Chinese Language Center also participated in the meeting to discuss future student exchange between the two schools and language learning courses.

Delegates with the Hosan University's International Director were impressed

with the Christian foundation of the University. They found the campus beautiful and hope to send students in the future.

Renowned for its language curriculum, Hosan University offers comprehensive programs and student care, and welcomes students from the University to go study Korean. In addition, the 3+1 joint dual-degree of Hosan University was also a focus of this discussion. Upon graduating from their program, students can hold diploma from both universities. Moreover, during their study, the universities will assist students with licensing so that after graduation, they can go work directly in Korea. This policy is very beneficial to practice oriented departments such as the Department of Tourism, Food & Beverage Management and the Department of Nursing.

The meeting is a starting point for cooperation between the two universities. The University will maintain close contact with Hosan University to formulate cooperation measures, strengthen Taiwan and South Korea exchanges, and provide students with a diverse learning environment and opportunities for increasing their professional competency.
