The 2022 Roots & Shoots Animal Parade- Life Network was organized by Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU), the Jane Goodall Institute, and Hushan Experimental Elementary School on December 3 at Anping Recreation Wharf where more than 1,000 students, teachers, and parents from 24 schools mostly from Tainan and Taipei’s Jane Goodall Sustainability Academy marched with hand-made environmental props in animal shapes. Meanwhile, hands-on challenge games for endangered animal conservation and ecological protection were held to educate the public about the importance of conservation and to raise awareness for urgency of the issue. The Children Performance Club of South Taiwan University of Science and Technology and famous African drum performance group consisting of CJCU’s international students were also invited to join the event.
